Returns
Our policy lasts 14 days.
If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we canât offer you a refund or exchange.
Defective return does not include returns for incompatibility or change of mind.Â
All products, unless otherwise stated, are covered by their respective manufacturerâs warranties.
All returned parts may be subject to quality, operation, and/or performance tests.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@selfsufficientaus.com.au
To be eligible for a return,
1. You need to contact us at admin@selfsufficientaus.com.au within the 14 days of purchase.
2. Your item must be in fair condition and must not have been used in a way that the item was not designed. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned are Batteries & Perishable goods such as food related products and Certain Cultivation equipment cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.
Refunds/Replacement (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you havenât received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SSA to commodore Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy - Regarding All Commodore, Victron, Blue solar and Ecotronics
All order changes or cancellations should be reported prior to shipping by email - admin@selfsufficientaus.com.au. Then the item will need to be shipped to Commodore Australia's return facility.
All returned parts may be subject to quality, operation, and/or performance tests by COMMODORE AUSTRALIA or BATTERYWORKS testing facilities or by a third party authorized by either party. Upon the explained test(s) results, non defective generic items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns must be advised within 14 days of purchase. Must be pre appoved with RA number, Goods must be in re-salable condition, freight costs are not refundable

All products, unless otherwise stated, are covered by their respective manufacturerâs warranties. Within thirty (30) days, we will repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any product that is deemed defective. After 30 days, the manufacturerâs warranty process must be followed.
All returns require prior authorization and must be returned in the original packing with all disks, cables, accessories, and documentation, including manuals, warranties, and a copy of original purchase invoice. To request a Return Merchandise Authorization, E-mail Self Sufficient Australia to obtain an RMA number, and clearly write the number on both the invoice copy enclosed with the returned merchandise and on the packing from outside. Please keep the RMA number and reference it when calling to check on the status of your return. All calls requesting RMA should be in the time designed for them (09:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday through Friday, excluding national and religious holidays). Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused and will be returned to you.
What This 5YR & 10YR Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover: installation or service of product; products or services not supplied by Commodore are not covered directly or indirectly by our warranty, conditions resulting from consumer mishandling such as improper maintenance or misuse, abuse, accident, or alteration; all plastic surfaces and all other exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to normal use; products which have had the serial number removed or made illegible; products rented or sold to others.
Pumpman Pumps come with a 24 Month warranty, Pumpman Controllers come with a 12 month warranty. New solar panels have a 25 year output warranty. Used solar panels have a 10 year warranty. If your item is found to be defective within the warranty period we will replace the defective part free of charge. You are welcome to send it back and our factory trained staff will carry out the repair for you free of charge within the warranty period. Repairs outside warranty period available at reasonable cost, Shipping is cost of buyer. Consumables, cables, leads, etc.. are not covered by warranty, negligence or misuse is a warranty exclusion. Commodore is not responsible for any direct or indirect expenses or losses related to warranty or non warranty.
Limits and Exclusions
There are no expressed or implied warranties except as listed above. SELF SUFFICIENT AUSTRALIA shall not be liable for special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, including, without limitation, direct or indirect damages for personal injury, loss of goodwill, profits or revenue, loss of use from this product or any associated equipment, cost of substitute equipment, downtime cost, loss of data, programs or business information, or any other losses, or claims of any party dealing with buyers from such damages, resulting from the use of or inability to use this product or arising from breach of warranty or contract, negligence, or any other legal theory. All expressed and implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the applicable warranty period set forth above.
State and Provincial Law Rights
Some states and provincial laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of warranty in certain situations, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which vary, from state to state and from province to province.
Product RMA Policy
We can only accept unopened products for return within 14 days of the purchase date. Defective merchandise may be exchanged for the same item.
All returned products must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. We do not accept returns without an RMA. To obtain an RMA, send us an email at admin@selfsufficentaus.com.au.
Please include the following information in your email.
Full name of purchaser (i.e., name of buyer)
Email address used to place order (i.e., support@commodoreaustralia.com.com )
Your order number if the product is opened or unopened & reason for return
If the product is defective or damaged, please tell us if you want an exchange for the same product
Once you have an RMA, ship the product back to us. Youâll need to cover the cost of shipping, unless given alternative instruction from an authorized returns representative. Please use a shipping company that can track packages. We are not responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.
When your return has been received and processed, we will credit your account or ship you a new product. Any items marked âBack-orderedâ are temporarily out of stock. We will ship them to you immediately when they are available.
Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@selfsufficientaus.com.au
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, youâll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasnât marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We donât guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
